As part of my Design and Manufacturing II class (MIT 2.008), I was assigned to design and machine an aluminum paperweight with a partner. Our team decided on a Harry Potter themed design, using a quote from the 7th book in the series.

We modeled the design in Solidworks, created the G-code using MasterCAM, and machined the paperweight on a Daewoo Puma CNC lathe and ProtoTRAK CNC mill.
